The Little Boat Shop is on it's way to the Lake Norman and Charlotte Area!

The Little Boat Shop was founded in 1990 by boatbuilder Steve Bussiere. I spent my childhood summers growing up in Cameron Point on Southport Island, Maine surrounded by schools of beautiful wooden boats of all styles. My hands have been in the wood for over forty years and I have built hundreds of boats for my clients as well as with my student builders in our unique "Build a Boat Program".

We offer one of the most unique Boatbuilding Programs in the country and plan to be in operation in early 2009.

We also build custom wooden boats, restoration, and repairs to both wood and fiberglass vessels.

Stay tuned for our new little "Lester Lectric" She will run all day on a single charge and will make a great boat for fishing or just poking around.

A personal thanks goes out to Mr. Humpy Wheeler. In May of this year we delivered his boat. It is pictured below.
