Redwing 18'-6" Camper/Cruiser

Based on the original design by Howard Chapelle, Karl Stambaugh NA redesigned this boat using the modern method of boatbuilding today. All of our Redwings and framed with mahogany. We use BS 1088 Okoume marine plywood. We glass the boat from the bottom to the rail with 10 oz fabric and the boat is encapsulated with West System Epoxy. Three coats of barrier coat is applied to the waterline.

We can build her simply with not a lot of brightwork or take her to a yacht quality format. All are boats are custom built to order with their owners specific needs in mind. Interior arrangements are only suggested and we welcome our clients input.

This has always been a favorite of mine to build as she is the original and just is a pretty boat. We offer a variety of options and power selection. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions and I would be glad to speak with you. I can be reached at 207-930-5322.
