Unlike most other fall foods that can be consumed at any time of the year if appropriately planned, hot and healthy drinks are one of those things that are meant for the warmer weather of fall and winter. If you look at a poll from NutritionDietNews, many regions in the United States love to drink hot and healthy drinks in the fall. One of the most loved ones in 2020 is a hot pumpkin spice latte. People love this drink’s spice taste as it can warm their body during the cold day in the fall. Not only pumpkin spice latte, but there are also many hot and healthy drinks that people love to drink in the fall. Let’s take a look at them.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

As mentioned, this has to be one of my favorites this year. You can use a home-canned pumpkin, whole organic milk, pumpkin pie spice, and homemade vanilla extract for this drink. Then, you can blend them all up in a mug using a hand blender. We don’t drink coffee, but that doesn’t take away from this wonderful beverage. Iowa Girl Eats does a beautiful job of making this recipe super easy to make with just a few ingredients. It’s a regular drink at our house this year.

Warm Apple Carrot Drink

There is no hard rule that says your hot beverage must be chocolate. It helps that my toddler likes to eat carrots and apples, but this is one of our favorites! If you have a juicer, it helps to get a nice fresh juice from your fruits and veggies. But you can always put the stuff in the blender with half a cup of water for each thing. You can then continue by pouring it all into a fine sieve or mesh bag and squeeze all the juice out of the pulp.

Hot Ginger Tea

A cup of hot ginger tea is the one my grandma always gives me in the fall when I visit her. This ginger tea brings the taste of the season and all the health benefits of ginger. What more could you want from your hot beverage? I’ve enjoyed this particular drink in the last couple of times to settle my stomach and give myself a health boost when I needed it most. Anyway, it’s a fantastic boost any time of year.

Mexican Hot Chocolate

Although we may be bored by just pure hot cocoa, I’ll give you some great techniques to give it a boost for the winter, but this fall, try adding cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and a little salt water! Also, this Mother Nature Network recipe is homemade. It’s not nearly as good in terms of out-of-package. After using this hot chocolate recipe, you’ll be surprised how easy it is to create from scratch, and you won’t have to use the old, sexy chocolate anymore. We’re never back in the prepackaged business.

Warm Spiced Coconut Almond Milk

Turmeric, ginger, and mint, with a pepper touch, this delicious and sweet hot milk drink from Vitacost offers what you need to enhance perceptions this year. No need to use almond milk, but boy, does this delicious concoction make just a little more. Most of the time, we just use our whole natural dairy because that’s what we have on hand. Everyone in the house loves it! My coconut-averse husband loves this hot drink.
